Euro Bus Expo 2010

Today was the second day of the three day annual bus & coach show the at the NEC in Birmingham, this year the larger bi-annual Euro Bus Expo variant. Of local interest was a new Volvo B9R / Plaxton Elite for Stewarts of Mortimer, displayed on the Alexander Dennis & Plaxton stand.
Reading Transport featured in a background display on the BAE Systems stand, looking forward to the imminent arrival of the Alexander Dennis Enviro 400Hs which use BAE Systems "HybriDrive" technology.
Several manufacturers had new designs on show, with a new Volvo B13R chassis with the redesigned Plaxton Profile 2 body in Megabus livery probably the most impressive due to its sheer size, but also MCV's new double decker and the new Wright StreetLite minibus were notable additions.
