TWM have operated the largest number of Leyland Lynx single deck buses in the country, and also have a vast fleet of MCW Metrobuses, the total number once being over 1100.

All of TWM's services operate on an exact fare policy, meaning that drivers don't to give change to passengers. The idea is that this speeds up boarding times because the driver does not have to spend time giving change to everybody that knows the fare. The whole process is however still slowed down when someone doesn't know the fare and has to fumble around for the correct change. Exact fares do also increase driver safety however because the drivers don't have access to the takings, and so then can't be held up by robbers. In addition to this for added security buses are fitted with anti-assault screens.
