TWM have operated the largest number of Leyland Lynx single deck buses in the country,
and also over 1100 numbers MCW Metrobus double deckers.
All services operate on an exact fare policy, meaning that drivers don't
give change to passengers. The idea is that this speeds up boarding times because the
driver does not have to spend time giving change to everybody that knows the fare.
It is also said to improve driver safety because the drivers don't have
access to the takings, and removes any need for gaps in anti-assault
screens.
