  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 724 has been on loan to Newbury since 19th. It was swapped with 964 which had been on loan to Newbury since sometime between 6th and 11th. Thanks to Brian Coney for this.

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 109 entered service in Reading yesterday in white route 40 livery. Thanks to Steve Wickens for this. It is 926 and not 928 which has been sold along with 930 to Vale Travel (not Z&S), Aylesbury. Thanks to Brian Coney for this. The other five Mk1 Excels still remain withdrawn at Great Knollys Street.

  • Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List: 22915 and 22924 have lost their branding for route 7. Meanwhile 22935 has now received its updated branding for route 3, and 22937 partially.

  • News Page: New Services Commence with photos of 125, 603, 610, 729, 1006, 1009, 1015 and 1023.
  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 601-4, 606-10 and 1006-11 have received Vitality branding with 1005 also expected to be similar to make a total of 16 buses (although 608 and 1007 have not yet been physically seen for confirmation). The "Delivering Transport Excellence" strap line and "working in partnership with West Berkshire Council" vinyls have been removed from all of the vehicles in the Newbury racing green and silver livery (Darts and Solos). Dark green 805-10 have had their branding and pop-art adverts updated with the revised 8 minute all day frequency. Light green 1015-19 have had their route 9 branding replaced with branding for new route 22. Red 1020-5 have received branding for new route 9. Withdrawn 926 and 930 appear to have been re-taxed, indicating that they may have been sold.
  • Reading Transport Leyland Olympians: Former 15 has been advertised for sale by a company based in Woodham Ferrers, Essex (thanks to David Gray for this) having also recently spent time back with Ensign as a loan vehicle.
  • Thames Travel Fleet List: New is MAN / MCV Stirling AF53 EUV, previously run by deCourcey Travel.

  • Reading Area Bus Routes: Updated with the latest information on the 20th April changes
  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 1011 has been repainted into silver/red rural livery from dark green and was back in service by 6th. Thanks to Steve Wickens for this. 125 has been refurbished and repainted into Newbury Buses Transport Excellence livery and was back in service there today. Thanks to Carl Jones for this. Rural livery description changed to "Reading Buses Vitality" ahead of new branding.
  • Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List: 22917 and 22922 have lost their branding for route 7, whilst 22920/1 are now in reserve pending transfer to Stagecoach East. 47236 is unlikely to return from Oxford to Banbury, whilst Banbury 42383 is to go into reserve from 30th May.

  • Reading Transport Optare Spectras: Former 733 passed from Ensign to Mass Transit, Sheffield during March.
  • Horseman Coaches Fleet List: Former N673 VJB is with Regional Rural Bus Co, Troodos Pelendria, Cyprus registered TKUC 653.  Similar M657 SBL which was with AWE, Aldermaston until recently has also passed to a dealer in Cyprus. Thanks to Derek Bradfield for this.
  • Weavaway Travel Fleet List: OFS 702Y has been sold to Dart Pleasure Craft, Dartmouth and WA06 GSV to Edwards & Son, Bwlchgwyn. New from Lawrence & Harding, St Ann's Chapel, Cornwall is Bova Futura WA05 JWM which is to be converted from C53Ft to C70F. Thanks to Derek Bradfield for this.
  • Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List: The new Optare Versas V1100s and B38F. They are expected to enter service in mid-April. Thanks to Steve Buckley for this.
