28-07-14:

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 1201-9 will be purchased from Weavaway Travel on 1 September, with Reading Buses resuming direct operation of the JetBlack 1 split between both Reading and Newbury depots. 1207 will be repainted into JetBlack livery and 1208/9 will be repainted into generic silver. 1010/11 are now surplus to requirements following the introduction of summer duties and have been advertised for sale. Thanks to Brian Coney for this. 1010/11 were both in service on 18 July, which is likely to have been their last day in service. 431 returned to service in pink on 21st. Thanks to James Cusworth for this.
  • Carousel Buses Fleet List: 502/3 and 711/2 have transferred from Thames Travel, 502/711 being repainted into Carousel livery, 712 in plain red and 503 in County Rider livery. Loaned 419 has also permanently transferred back from Thames Travel and has been repainted plain red. 710/13 and 911 are also expected shortly. 416, 751/3 and 918 have been sold, with 415/7 and 928-30 also to be withdrawn soon. Thanks to Steve for this. It would seem likely that 752 will also be sold, but this has not been confirmed.
  • First Berkshire Fleet List: The fleet numbers for Routemasters 39735/810 were transposed when originally reported. Slough 42659 has been withdrawn. Withdrawn 40826/42508 were sold for scrap in June. Thanks to Brian Coney for this.
  • Oxford Bus Company Fleet List: 203 has been repainted red. Thanks to Graham Low for this. Likewise 204. Many Citaros except 822/33 have gained additional lettering on the rear. Thanks to David Gray for this. 202 has also been repainted red. 202/3/5 have gained Brookesbus lettering on base Oxford Bus Company livery. Thanks to Ralph Adams for this. 205 first appeared like this on 15th. Thanks to Graham Low for this. The official launch of the new livery took place on 16th featuring 201.
  • Thames Travel Fleet List: 721 has a new MegaRear for Fostering & Adoption. Thanks to David Gray for this.
  • Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List: 36766 has a new MegaRear for SJE Arts (John the Evangelist Church), and 36767/8 for Fostering & Adoption. Thanks to David Gray for this. 50262 was in service by 23rd. Thanks to David Winyard for this. 50263/4/6/7/8/70 entered service on 16th following the launch. 15965 transferred to Witney on 7th July, whilst 15966 entered service on 1st July and 15964 on 18th. Reserve 33463/464/650/653 have been withdrawn for sale.
  • Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List: Leamington 16617 has been sold to Hardwick (dealer) for scrap. Rugby 22843 has gone into reserve. 33460/911 have returned from loan to Stagecoach Cumbria. Rugby reserve 34491 has returned to service. Leamington 34772 has gone into reserve. Megabus reserve 52567 has transferred to Stagecoach East Scotland in exchange for 53028. Similar 53029 has returned to service from the training fleet.

09-07-14:

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 207 and 211-9 are the ten vehicles to have gone on loan to First for the Commonwealth Games, 209/10 didn't go. Thanks to Adam Conner for this.

07-07-14:

  • News Page: Pink 25 and 'the nineteens' with photos of 166 and 417. Thanks to Graham Low for these.
  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 167 entered service today. Thanks to Martin for this. The E400Hs will be departing earlier than planned with 207 & 209-19 leaving tomorrow! Thanks to Adam Conner for this.
  • Reading Transport Alexander Dennis Enviro 300SGs: 431 now is at Hants & Dorset trim today pending repaint out of Lime having still been in service on 1st. Thanks to David Gray for this.
  • Courtney Buses Fleet List: The new Optare Solo SRs are YJ14 BGY/Z arriving in plain white. BGZ is now in coffee and cream for the Wokingham routes with BGY also expected to be done. Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 KX07 HFB and Plaxton Centro KX58 BHO are on loan pending the delivery of the Optare Versas. RX06 WRU and RX58 HVJ have been repainted into Coffee & Cream livery for Wokingham routes. Thanks to James Cusworth for this.
  • Mortons Travel Fleet List: Acquired in January was VanHool TX15 Alizee YJ13 GYY from Elock, Madeley, and acquired in March was Volvo B10M / East Lancs G618 BPH from Pulhams Coaches. Thanks to Trident magazine for this. In April PO59 KGF was reregistered M10 ANV and had special 10th anniversary insignia added to celebrate the company's 10th birthday in May.

06-07-14:

  • Reading Transport Fleet List: 166 appears to have entered service on 4th. Thanks to James Cusworth for this. Three 05 registration Wright Solars are now advertised for sale, assumed to be 1011-13.
  • Reading Transport Alexander Dennis Enviro 300SGs: 417 returned from repaint into pink on 1st July and was in use on driver training on 3rd. Thanks to Martin for this.
  • Oxford Bus Company Fleet List: 201 has been repainted red. Thanks to Graham for this. 52, 83, 87 and 88 were sold to Ensignbus (dealer) in May.
  • Weavaway Travel Fleet List: Leyland Olympian / ECW partial open top A146 OFR has been acquired from Ensignbus (dealer) and is being repainted into Noah Vale poppy red. Thanks to David Wilder for this. W60 OOW has returned from repaint into poppy red with white window surrounds, and has gained Noah Vale fleet names and been named Bungle. SN11 BWJ arrived at Ensignbus (dealer) in June, passing from there to National Express.
  • White Bus Service Fleet List: Optare Delta P131 RWR was sold for scrap in June.
  • Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List: The transfers of 36763 from Witney to Oxford and 47239 Witney to Banbury haven't taken place as planned. Instead reserve 47434 is in use at Banbury. Thanks to Martin Townsend and Chris Maxfield for this.
