August 2005 < Last Month | News Archive | Next Month > Station Disruptions 27-08-05 One or two events in Reading recently have led to some disruption in the vicinity of the station. Notices on the stops suggest that the same may also have applied at other times. Also the Caversham-bound stops at Caversham Road Fire Station, Swansea Road and The Moderation were suspended from 8.35am on Thursday 25th until the end of service on Friday 26th due to the heavy traffic. Special rock festival service 98 has been in operation as usual. Then the same special flag from last year was put up at stop SA, along with the information about the service on a notice. 705 on the 98 today. The information given on the Reading Buses website (which was very similar to that shown on the leaflets and notices) is quoted below: "Reading Buses will again operate Service 98 for the benefit of Festival-goers. < Last Month | News Archive | Next Month > |
