Travel Coventry Launched

A new look for the Travel West Midlands vehicles in Coventry was launched on Monday. Nine new Dennis Tridents entered service following the launch with sky blue replacing the TWM red on the vehicles and new Travel Coventry logos. The rest of the Coventry allocation is to receive this new look in due course, some of the existing Tridents having already been treated to the new colours since Monday!
On order for Coventry are another 20 Alexander ALX 400 bodied double deckers - 10 on Dennis Trident chassis and 10 on Volvo B7TLs expected in the new year. Also 10 articulated Mercedes Benz Citaros are expected for routes 17/27.
Visit to Nottingham

A brief visit to Nottingham University today allowed a couple of photo stops...
Quite by chance I found Thames Travel's Taxibus BX02 CMF waiting time in Stadhampton whilst I was en-route to the M40 so I pulled over to stretch my legs.
Nottingham City Transport Optare Solo 277 at the Univeristy of Nottingham.
Nottingham City Transport Optare Excel2 number 533 wears Orange Go2 livery, and is seen passing by the outskirts of the University.
Some Trent Rainbow 4 and 5 liveried vehicles were also seen around the Univeristy, but the photos came out blurred.
