Reading Transport Fleet List:
116/8 are expected to transfer from Newbury to Reading for storage and
assessment shortly following the reduction to route 11 in July. 601-4
and 606-10 (but not 605) are to transfer from Newbury to Reading from
7th September along with the operation of routes 1, 1A and 11. This will
allow the Vodafone vehicles to return to Newbury depot from an
outstation at New Greenham Park. Thanks to Brian Coney for this.
First Berkshire Fleet List: Further
new Tridents to arrive were 33147 on 27th and 33148 on 30th. Thanks to
Mat Wooll for this. In total 33141-8 are expected from London for route
190, all refurbishing and in First corporate livery. Thanks to Brian

First Berkshire Fleet List: 33143
arrived at Bracknell today and is the first of several refurbished
Tridents expected to transfer from London for use on route 190. Thanks

Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List:
Five new Scania N230UD / Alexander Dennis Enviro 400s to Stagecoach Gold
specification have unexpectedly become available and are to be allocated
to Witney for route S2. The vehicles are expected to arrive next week
and to be numbered 15533-7 with registration VX59 JCU/CY/CZ/DF/DJ.
Stewarts of Mortimer Fleet List:
Expected next Monday is Mercedes-Benz / Unvi Touring YN09 HZG to replace
similar YN05 UVK. Thanks to Derek Bradfield for this.
Oxford Bus Company Fleet List: New
are 792-7 from Brighton & Hove, but it is not yet known what these are
intended for. 207/8 and probably 209-11 are now in service. Consequently
629-33/8 have been withdrawn again and 640-3 have gone into reserve
pending their final appearances for five weeks from the start of term in
September. 630/3/8 have been sold to Dews Coaches, Cambridge and 631/4
to Grey, Ely.
Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List:
50205/7/8/12 are the four vehicles used on special runs on 1st August.
50202/3/4/6/9/10 entered service on 3rd along with 50205/7/8/12, and then
50201/11/13-15 on 4th.
Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List: 50104/07/11/12/13/17/20/24
were withdrawn on 2nd August and departed for Plaxton for refurbishment
pending disposal. 50119 was withdrawn on 7th August and followed suit.
50133 was returned off loan to Stagecoach Western, and is to re-enter
service at Kilmarnock after a repaint. Thanks to Malcolm Crowe for this.
Stagecoach in Warwickshire Fleet List:
31330 has had its route 3/3A branding replaced with branding for route
4. Thanks to Keith Wood for this. Stratford reserve 20225 has been
returned to service at Leamington. 33911 has transferred from Leamington
to Stratford. 54052 has arrived. Reserve 20541/57-60/803/804/808/821/823
have or are about to transfer to Stagecoach East Midlands leaving just
20214/20/23/24 in reserve, all now at Leamington.

has been given a fresh coat of maroon and cream livery, but with the
current red Reading Buses logo
Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List:
50202-9/12 were service today, whilst 50205 was also one of the four
used on 1st. 50201/11/13-15 arrived at the depot today.
Fleet Buzz Fleet List: Optare
Versa demonstrator YJ58 BZY has been on loan since mid July. Thanks to
Derek Bradfield, Stephen Tallent and Martin for this. 71 and 73 have
been advertised for sale in the trade press.
Stagecoach in Oxfordshire Fleet List:
50207/9 arrived on 27th July and 50205/8/10/12 on 29th. 50202/3/4/6 have
had their 'coming soon' branding replaced with the full livery this
weekend. All ten delivered so far are expected to be in service tomorrow
(four having run special journeys on 1st August for disadvantaged
children and 261 competition winners), whilst 50201/11/13/14/15 are to
be collected early this morning to enter service on 4th. A further eight
Neoplan Skyliners have been withdrawn today and are to leave for Plaxton
this evening (joining already withdrawn 50103), whilst 50133 will return
to Scotland in the next few days. A further five (making a total of 15)
will depart in a week or two once the 15 Astromegas have settled down
into service. The next batch of Astromegas are not expected until
October.
